De-emphasizing by comparing attributes with the target

You can move items to the end of the recommendation list by evaluating the value of a specified attribute.

1. Select the rule group in which to add the rule.
2. On the Rules tab, click Add Rule.
3. Select to apply the rule to All Targets, or limit the targets with a set of conditions. See Defining conditions to select rule targets
4. Select De-emphasize. Set % to 100 and leave factor blank. See The percentage value and The factor value for information on other ways to use these values.
5. Drag the attribute that you want to exclude building block.
6. Enable the Compare to target option.
7. In the Edit Rule Criterion dialog, select contains, and type the value on which you want to evaluate the attribute and click Apply.
8. Save the rule.
