Creating an annotation

You can add and delete annotations from a document version even if that version has been frozen.

About this task

Annotations represent incidental information that is attached to another object for the purpose of annotating or footnoting that object.

Procedure

To create an annotation

  1. Locate the object in the administration console:
    1. In the object store's root folder or subfolder, right-click the folder, document, or custom object that you want to annotate and click Add Annotation.
  2. Complete the wizard.
