Content validation
You can validate content while it is uploaded into the storage area by creating a user-implemented action called a content validation action. A content validation action runs in parallel to a content upload process. If an incoming content stream fails validation, the upload to the storage area is canceled and the content is removed from the storage area immediately.
The following list contains examples of content validation actions:
- A content validator can be used with the Content Engine to support virus checking of content during upload process.
- A content validator can be used to disallow upload of certain types of content like executable files.
