Extended description
Before you can complete certain IBM® Software Hub setup and management tasks, you must create a
profile so that you can run the appropriate cpd-cli commands. A profile
enables the cpd-cli to verify that you are a IBM Software Hub user and that you have the appropriate
administrator permissions to complete a task. For more information, see Creating a profile to use the cpd-cli management commands.
Prerequisites
cpd-cli- Before you run any
cpd-clicommands, download thecpd-cli14.2.2 command-line utility for your operating system and IBM Software Hub edition. For more information, see Installing the IBM Software Hub command-line interface (cpd-cli). - Common core services
- The
assetcommands are relevant only when common core services are installed.
Required permissions
The asset command requires cluster
administrator or similar roles.
