Description

SIGNOFF enables you to sign off from the terminal or principal facility that you previously signed on to. When signoff is complete, the terminal reverts to the security capabilities and operator characteristics that are associated with the default user for this CICS® region. The national language reverts to the national language of the default user, if defined, or the national language that is associated with the definition of the terminal.

Conditions

INVREQ
Occurs in the following conditions:
  • No user is currently signed on (RESP2=1).
  • No terminal has this task (RESP2=2).
  • Signoff is attempted by using transaction routing without using the CRTE transaction (RESP2=4).
  • Command not allowed for a distributed program link server program (RESP2=200).

Default action: Terminates the task abnormally.
