Using the Call Flow tab in the editor

The Call Flow tab displays a graphical representation of each session.

The Call Flow tab shows a graphical representation of the call flow with objects that represent speech recognition events, interleaved with Text-to-Speech (TTS) events from a corresponding Synthesis session, if found.

Each Recognition figure has as many as three parts, but at least two. If the recognition was successful, the top part shows the confidence of the recognition and the mode in which the input was received (speech or DTMF). An audio icon in the top part of the figure indicates the presence of a recorded utterance; double-clicking on this icon plays the audio file. The middle part of the figure shows the recognized phrase that was reported by the server in a grey speech bubble, or the failure condition in a red speech bubble in the case of unsuccessful recognition. The bottom part of the figure shows the transcription you entered, if any; if no transcription is available, the bottom part of the figure is not shown. You can also enter a transcription from this tab by double-clicking on the middle or bottom parts of the figure.

Each Prompt object has two parts. An audio icon in the top figure indicates the presence of recorded synthesis output; double-clicking on this icon plays the audio file. The middle part of the figure displays the text of the Synthesis event in a blue speech bubble, and also provides a fly-over "tooltip" with the entire text of the prompt, in case the text is too long and gets clipped by the figure.
