Value-Added Network with webMethods B2B Integration
IBM Sterling VAN facilitates secure and reliable electronic data exchange (EDI) with customers, suppliers, distributors, and trading partners globally.
When IBM Sterling VAN is integrated with webMethods B2B Integration, it acts as a communication layer between webMethods B2B Integration and trading partners. For more information, see Value-Added Network.
Subscribing to IBM Sterling VAN
To subscribe to IBM Sterling VAN, create a support ticket with IBM Support with the following
information.
- In the Product field, select webMethods Hybrid Integration SaaS.
- In the Capibility field, select webMethods B2B Integration.
- In the Case description field, mention provisioning IBM Sterling VAN for
each webMethods B2B Integration environment. Also, provide the following details;
- The instance ID of the IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration environment, to which webMethods B2B Integration capability is provisioned. You can find the instance ID from the Environment Details tab.
- Mention if you want to migrate from another provider’s VAN.
- An estimate of the number of trading partners.
IBM Sterling VAN team creates the VAN mailbox, with a Mailbox ID, Client ID, and client secret.
IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration Support team notifies you when your VAN account is successfully
set up and is ready for use.
Note: If you enable webMethods B2B Integration
in a new IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration environment and want to use IBM Sterling VAN, create a
support ticket. In the support ticket mention that you already have a VAN mailbox, and provide the
instance ID of the new IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration environment.
