Use the Column Map Editor to create
a column map.
When you create a new column map, the grid is populated
automatically on the basis of your selections in the New
Column Map dialog. You edit the values in the first grid
column to map columns. The name of the table, for which columns are
mapped, is displayed at the top of the Column Map Editor.
- In the main window, select .
The New Column Map dialog
opens.
- From the Validation Rules area,
select Move/Archive.
- Specify the name of the source table containing
the columns you want to map:
- If you select the File option,
supply the file name and specify the name of a table in that file.
- If you select the Database option,
supply the name of the database table.
- Specify the name of the destination table
containing the columns you want to map.
- Click OK to open the Column
Map Editor.
- Modify the source column names, as needed.
- Select to open the Save
the Column Map dialog.
- Any pseudo columns that represent attached
files do not appear in the editor. However, the pseudo columns can
be mapped as source columns and are used whether or not file attachments
are processed.
