SEND command

Use the SEND command to communicate with other operators in a multiple-console support (MCS), HMC multiple-console support (HMCS) or SNA multiple-console support (SMCS) environment. In a time-sharing environment, use the SEND command to communicate with a specific terminal user or all terminal users, and to manage the SYS1.BRODCAST data set. Table 1 summarizes the information that the SEND command provides. Use it to find details about a particular use of the SEND command.
