Modify and Add UNIX Data Set and Mount Point pages
You can use the Modify and Add UNIX Data Set and Mount Point pages to specify the name of the UNIX file system data set to be associated with one or more of the unmounted UNIX directories.
Table 1 lists and describes the fields on the Modify and Add UNIX Data Set and Mount Point pages.

| Source software | Name of the source software instance, and the name of the z/OSMF host system that has access to the volumes and data sets where the source software instance resides. |
| UNIX file system data set name | Name of the UNIX file system data set that contains one or more of the directories listed in the UNIX directories field. The data set name is required, must comply with z/OS® data set naming conventions, and must be unique in the UNIX File System Data Sets table. |
| Mount point | Mount point that makes the
directories in the data set accessible to SMP/E. The mount point must be a prefix for one or more of
the directories listed in the UNIX directories
field. When specifying the mount point, adhere
to the following rules. The mount point:
The mount point is required and must be unique in the UNIX File System Data Sets table. Note: z/OSMF uses the mount point to associate the
UNIX file system data set with the appropriate UNIX directories. z/OSMF does
not mount the data set.
