z/OS UNIX host: Identify the remote host

Use the z/OS® UNIX host command to identify the IP addresses associated with a specified DNS host name or to identify the DNS hostnames associated with a specified IP address.

Format:

Parameters:

host
DNS host name or IP address to look up
