Abstract for JES2 Data Areas ($ALI - $ZJC)

Purpose of this information:

JES2 Data Areas information is for system programmers who diagnose and debug operating system and programming problems. It provides information for debugging installation-provided programs or diagnosing IBM-provided programs. The user of this information should have a strong working knowledge of the functions and logic of the operating system.

Data areas are sequenced alphanumerical by data area acronym. Each data area has up to four sections:

• Programming Interface Information
• Header
• Data area map
• Cross-reference (when the data area map is long enough)
