z/OS DFSMSrmm Implementation and Customization Guide

To enable the DFSMShsm tape volume interface to be used by other similar products, follow the directions in Releasing tapes: EDGTVEXT. Also, see the TVEXTPURGE parmlib option in Using the parmlib member EDGRMMxx for how to select the correct option for the tape volume interface.
