Implementing new DFSMShsm ARCCMDxx functions

z/OS DFSMShsm Implementation and Customization Guide
SC23-6869-01

If you have DFSMShsm running with an established ARCCMDxx member, for example ARCCMD00, you can copy the ARCCMDxx member to a member with another name, for example, ARCCMD01. You can then modify the new ARCCMDxx member by adding and deleting parameters.

To determine how the new parameters affect DFSMShsm’s automatic processes, run DFSMShsm in DEBUG mode with the new ARCCMDxx member. See Debug mode of operation for gradual conversion to DFSMShsm and the z/OS DFSMShsm Storage Administration for an explanation of running DFSMShsm in DEBUG mode.
