DFSMShsm’s access control environment element (ACEE) is used when backup profiles are created. If the user ID associated with the DFSMShsm startup procedure has profile modeling active or is in a group for which profile modeling is active, any access list associated with the model profile is added to the backup profiles. If a profile is recovered that uses the backup profile as a model, the additional user IDs in the access list are attached to the recovered profile.
