You can delete migrated data sets under the following conditions:
- For VSAM data sets, make the name specified in the command the
name of the base cluster. Specifying the name of any other component
causes the command to fail.
- The name specified for the data set (for either VSAM or non-VSAM
data sets) must be the name in the catalog. You cannot specify the
name that DFSMShsm assigned to the migrated data set.
DFSMShsm fails any DFSMShsm DELETE command that specifies a member
name of a partitioned data set.
