Explanation: dsname is a required
positional parameter specifying the data set that you want to recall.
For dsname, substitute the fully qualified name of the data
set.
Defaults: None.
Note: - Because dsname is a required positional parameter, you
must specify it immediately after the command name.
- You cannot specify an alias for dsname. If you do, DFSMShsm
does not recall the data set.
- DFSMShsm does not handle partitioned data set members individually.
If you specify a member name of a partitioned data set, DFSMShsm processes
the entire partitioned data set. If dsname is a VSAM data
set name, specify the base cluster name, any component name, or any
path name. If the sphere has more than one AIX, more than one path, or more
than one path to the AIX, only the base cluster name can be specified for RECALL. The
entire VSAM sphere is recalled.
