ddn: Specifies the name of the DD statement that identifies the input volume that contains the data sets for a logical dump operation. To ensure correct processing, each of the DD statements corresponding to a DDNAME (ddn) must identify only one volume serial number.

Notes for LOGINDDNAME, LOGINDYNAM, and STORGRP keywords:

When you specify the LOGINDDNAME, LOGINDYNAM, or STORGRP keyword, DFSMSdss uses logical processing to perform the dump operation. Logical processing also occurs when no input volume is specified.
A multivolume data set that has extents on volumes that are not specified with the LOGINDDNAME, LOGINDYNAM, or STORGRP keyword will not be dumped unless you specify SELECTMULTI.
