CICS TG monitoring of XA limit
IBM Z OMEGAMON AI for CICS Transaction Gateway now collects Gateway Daemon statistics for XA transactions. This allows you to monitor XA two-phase commit (2PC) transactions in CICS Transaction Gateway (CICS TG) so you can generate alerts before the number of concurrent XA transactions reaches its maximum limit. It also allows you to collect the history of XA statistics in your CICS TG regions, which is useful for trending and capacity planning.
The Transaction Analysis workspace is enhanced to include the XA related statistics and bar graphs that are designed to display such metrics for greater visibility. The workspace also provides XA transaction workload statistics in the monitored CICS TG regions.
