Viewing resource utilization on the Scheduling dashboard

You can see the percentage of your resources that are being used in each schedule on your dashboard.

About this task

The KPI in the Resource utilization card on the header shows the utilization rate for all crafts that are included in the schedule.

The resources table shows resource utilization by craft. In the table, the resource load and availability displays as a heat map to indicate areas of concern where resources are being underutilized or over utilized. You can focus your attention on the areas of concern.

Procedure

  1. On the Scheduling dashboard, click the name of the schedule that you want to view.
    Various tabs display for any schedule that you open from the Scheduling dashboard.
  2. In the Resource utilization tab, within the Resources table, click the cell for the date and craft resource that you want to view resource utilization details for.
    The scheduled hours, available hours, and utilization percentage are displayed. To view resource leveling data for that date and craft, click Resource leveling.
  3. Click a different cell to view resource utilization for that date and craft.
