Maximo Monitor to Maximo Manage integration overview

Maximo® Manage provides several artifacts for the Maximo Monitor to Maximo Manage integration, including an external system, enterprise services, and endpoints.

You can use the following artifacts to add data from Maximo Monitor to Maximo Manage:

MASDD external system
The MASDD external system includes enterprise services for inbound data integration from Maximo Monitor to Maximo Manage.

To integrate data from Maximo Monitor into Maximo Manage, you use the MASDD external system and the MASDDLOAD endpoint. Processing uses an inbound queue, which can be JMS or Kafka.

Enterprise services
The following table describes the object structures and enterprise services that are associated with the MASDD external system in Maximo Manage:

To synchronize data, use the Get External Data option, which is available on the External Service tab for an external system.
Endpoints
Enterprise services in the MASDD external system are configured to export data by using the MASDDLOAD endpoint. Data is posted in JSON format to Maximo Manage.
Endpoint properties are configured in Red Hat® OpenShift® and are stored as server bundle properties.
The following properties are added to the endpoints:
  • URL
  • GRAPH
  • USERNAME
  • PASSWORD
  • TENANT
The Allow Override check box must be selected to allow the properties to be overwritten.
