Status of log records

Shift logs can have a status of Draft, Active, or Inactive.

Status	About this status
DRAFT	The log record is being developed or reviewed. This status is the default status of a new log. You can change the record. You can create incidents, defects, service requests, bypass management records, investigations, work orders, and communications. You can also record meter readings. You can delete the record if it is not associated with other records. You can change a record with a Draft status to Active status or to Inactive status.
ACTIVE	The log is available to other records and applications. You can change some, but not all, fields on the record. You cannot delete the record. You can create incidents, defects, service requests, bypass management records, investigations, work orders, and communications. You can also record meter readings. You can change a record in Active status back to Draft status or to Inactive status.
INACTIVE	The log is not available to open records. You cannot change the record. You can delete the record if it is not associated with other records.
