Application Designer application

The Application Designer is an application where you can drag components to modify an application without editing any code.

You can also copy and create applications and restrict access to specific components or to an entire application.

With the Application Designer, you can perform the following common modifications to the user interface of a selected application:

Moving fields and sections
Adding new fields, tabs, and tables with columns and rows

You can also perform the following more advanced functions with the Application Designer:

Creating or duplicating applications
Defining signature options to restrict access to a component or to a specific application component
Editing the toolbar or the Select Action menu.

You can create an application or duplicate an existing application with the Application Designer. It can be necessary to perform some of the following additional activities to fully enable a new application:

Create database tables and columns
Define user access to the application
Develop Java™ code
Develop workflow processes
