Searching for bundle definitions

About this task

You can filter the list of bundle definitions on the Bundle Definitions panel or search for a specific bundle definition. If you want Output Manager to apply the search criteria to the Bundle Definitions panel the next time you display it, you can save the criteria to your ISPF profile.

To search for bundle definitions:

Procedure

  1. From the Output Manager main menu, specify options A.N, Administrative Functions > Bundle Administration.
  2. From the Bundle Administration menu, choose option D, Bundle Definitions, and press Enter. The Bundle Definitions panel is displayed.
  3. From the Search pull-down menu, choose option 1, Enter search criteria.
The Search for Bundle Definitions window is displayed.
  4. In the Bundle name field, type a unique name for the bundle. This user-defined value can be up to 32 characters in length. The following wildcards are permitted: the asterisk (*) or percent sign (%) for zero or more trailing characters, or the question mark (?) or underscore (_) for a single character anywhere in the name. If you specify a wildcard pattern, Output Manager will find all bundle definitions that have names matching the pattern.
  5. In the Save Criteria? field, type Yes if you want to save the search criteria that you specified to your ISPF profile. Output Manager will then use the saved search criteria to filter the list of bundle definitions from session to session, until you change the criteria. If you want to use the search criteria temporarily (for a one-time search), accept the default value of No. Output Manager will filter the current list of bundle definitions and then clear the search criteria and revert to the last-saved values (if any) when you exit the Bundle Definitions panel.
  6. Press Enter.
The Bundle Definitions panel lists only the bundle definitions that match your search criteria.
