IBM Tivoli Management Services for z/OS 6.4 introduces:
- IBM Z OMEGAMON Web UI 2.1: A new, browser-based interface for monitoring performance data from the OMEGAMON monitoring agents. The Web UI provides real-time and historical data analysis using Grafana. The key capabilities include:
- Web-based monitoring: Access OMEGAMON performance data from any supported web browser.
- Integrated architecture: OMEGAMON Gateway enables communication between TEMS and Grafana.
- Admin UI: Simplifies configuration and automation of monitored environments.
- OMEGAMON Data Requester: Retrieves and filters real-time and historical data.
- Customizable dashboards: Design and share personalized views tailored to specific monitoring needs.
- IBM Z OMEGAMON AI Insights 2.2: Integrates advanced machine learning capabilities to detect and visualize performance anomalies in z/OS components and applications. OMEGAMON AI Insights analyzes data collected from OMEGAMON AI monitoring agents for IBM Z OMEGAMON AI for Db2 6.1, IBM Z OMEGAMON AI for CICS 6.1, OMEGAMON AI for JVM 6.1, IBM Z OMEGAMON AI for Networks 6.1, and IBM Z OMEGAMON AI for z/OS 6.1. The application builds predictive models to identify seasonal trends in key performance indicators. Models begin generating predictions upon installation and improve over time. Predicted anomalies and live data are displayed in Grafana dashboards, enabling quick detection and troubleshooting. OMEGAMON AI Insights is containerized and can be deployed on Docker for Linux on Z (s390x) or Linux (amd64).
