Creating new org admin account

Use this procedure to create a new org admin user account. Currently, org admin accounts are not created as IBM® IDs.

About this task

A user account with Org Admin as a Role can do the following:
  • Create user accounts
  • Assign roles and applications to user accounts
  • Manage company settings for the organization

When your system is configured, you are provided with one Org Admin account. Most organizations create a second Org Admin user to have as a back up.

Procedure

  1. Log in as the Organization Administrator.
  2. Click +. The Create user displays.
  3. Enter the new user's account information.
    • Email
    • First name
    • Last name
    • Display name
  4. Select the Language.
  5. Select the Status - Active or Inactive.
  6. Select the Applications to assign to the user.
  7. Select OrgAdmin as the Roles to assign to the user.
  8. Click Create user.
