Apply taxonomy attributes to the classified unstructured data assets for categorization
and publishing them to IBM Data Risk Manager Dashboard for
risk evaluation.
Before you begin
Ensure that the following tasks are completed.
- Import of necessary business context data, and the availability of a program with adequate scope
to run the data discovery operation.
- Data discovery scans for the data sources that are in scope.
Procedure

Log on to IBM Data Risk Manager Application Suite
(https://<IDRM-Server-IP-Address>:8443/albatross/a3suite)
with administrator privileges.

Click the menu icon

Go to .

Click Program to select your program.

Click the drop-down icon
and select Newly Discovered Assets.

Select a data source from the Classifier Data Source list that contains
assets for which you want to assign taxonomy attributes and export to dashboard. On the
Newly Discovered Assets page, assets that are associated with the selected data
source are displayed. If the rule that was used to run the scan is not associated with an
information asset, rule name is displayed as the asset name.
- For the selected asset, you can specify or modify primary attributes.

You can select a name from the list. You can also create a name for your asset.
- Click the Name drop-down list.
- In the Enter Asset Name field, specify a name for the asset.
- To save the name, click the add icon

| Tag |
Select necessary tags from the list. You can use tags to identify a group of related
information assets. You can also create tags to define your asset groupings.
- Click the Tag drop-down list.
- In the Add new tag name field, specify a name for the tag.
- To save the tag, click the add icon

Select a suitable data asset category in terms of its need for protection. You can add an
item to the Category list by creating a register item for Taxonomy
Category Register in . For the steps about how to create a register
item, see Creating an item and defining its properties for the register.

| Crown Jewel |
To make the asset as a Crown Jewel asset, enable the toggle button. Crown Jewel is a term
that is used to represent the most valuable data asset within an organization. |

If the context data is imported, secondary taxonomy attributes are already be mapped.
If the taxonomy attributes are not automatically mapped, validate the mapping in
Business Context Modeler. For more information about how to map the context
data, see Mapping business context data.

If you want to apply same taxonomy attributes to all the sub folders of discovered assets in
the current data source, select Apply to Sub-Folders.

Click Save to save the changes.
- Click Export.

Click Yes when prompted to publish information asset to the
dashboard.
