Importing vulnerability assessment scans from IBM Security Guardium

You can import vulnerability scans from IBM Security Guardium into IBM Data Risk Manager inventory for risk analysis and actions.

Before you begin

Ensure that IBM Data Risk Manager is integrated with IBM Security Guardium. For more information about integration, see Integrating IBM Security Guardium with IBM Data Risk Manager.

About this task

The transaction icon Transaction successful icon indicates that the most recent import operation was successful.

The transaction icon Transaction failure icon indicates that the most recent import operation was failed.

The transaction icon Transaction progress icon indicates that the most recent import operation is in progress.

Procedure

  1. Log on to IBM Data Risk Manager Application Suite (https://<IDRM-Server-IP-Address>:8443/albatross/a3suite).
  2. Click the application menu icon Application navigation icon.
  3. Go to Business Context Modeler > Enterprise Integration Wizard > Integration > Scans.
  4. Import scans.
    1. Click the Download icon Download icon.
    2. On the Import window, select Vulnerability Assessment.
    3. From the Adapter list, select IBM Guardium.
    4. From the Instances list, select an adapter instance. You can select up to three instances.
    5. Select the date from which you need to pull vulnerability assessment scans from IBM Security Guardium.
    6. Click Import. When the import operation is complete, the IBM Security Guardium vulnerability assessment scans are added to the inventory.
  5. On the Scans page, you can view scans that you now imported. Alternatively, view the scans under IBM Data Risk Manager > Vulnerability Management > Dashboard > VA Data Sources > IBM Guardium.
  6. To refresh scan inventory list, click the Refresh icon Refresh icon.
  7. You can view status of the import operation at Security Command and Control Center > Home.
