Supported hardware

IBM® Platform Cluster Manager Community Edition Version 4.2.1 supports most generic IPMI-based x86-64 hardware.

Platform Cluster Manager Community Edition Version 4.2.1 is tested on the following hardware:
  • Lenovo Flex System x
  • Lenovo System x M4
  • Lenovo System x iDataPlex M4
  • Lenovo NeXtScale
  • IBM Power Systems™

Supported switches

Platform Cluster Manager Community Edition supports various switches for different features, including: switch monitoring, switch discovery, and switch VLAN support.
