Using the IBM® Sterling Field Sales Dashboard home page

The Dashboard home page is the first screen that is displayed after you log in to the Sterling™ Field Sales application. When using the application, if you want to navigate to the Dashboard home page at any point of time, click Sterling Field Sales label in the header bar.

The Dashboard home page enables you to customize the view so that you can see the information that is most important to you. The following dashlet are provided out of the box:

• Recently Modified: This dashlet enables you to quickly navigate to the entities that you modified recently. It displays a maximum of 10 of your most recently modified opportunities or quotes. The entities are displayed in the order of the modification time, with the most recently modified entity at the top of the list.
• My Opportunities Not Yet Quoted: This displays opportunities that you are currently working on, which are currently in Inquiry status and have no quotes associated with it.
• New Product Launches: This displays products that have been added to the catalog in the current month.
• Products Expiring: This displays products whose effective end date falls within the current month.
• Probability of Success for My Opportunities: This displays a bar graph with different lengths representing the open opportunities that have been grouped based on their probability of success (in %) and are currently assigned to you. Each bar in the graph represents the probability of success (in %) for a particular range, and the length of the bar represents the number of opportunities with the probability of success (in %) falling within that range.

  When you move the pointer over a bar in the graph, you can view the number of opportunities represented by that bar and the total estimated amount that will be earned from the opportunities for an enterprise. This amount is displayed in the currency that is defined for the enterprise. If you have access to multiple enterprises, you can view the breakdown of the total estimated amount that will be earned from the opportunities for each of the enterprises.

• Open Inquiries Assigned to Me: This displays opportunities that are in inquiry status and are currently assigned to you.
• Opportunities Expiring: This displays opportunities whose effective end date falls within the current month.
• My Open Quotes: This displays quotes that are in open status and are currently assigned to you.
• My Open Quotes Pending Approval: This displays quotes for which you have requested approval.
• Quotes Pending My Approval: This displays quotes that are pending your approval.
• Quotes Expiring: This displays quotes whose effective end date falls within the current month.
• My Open Quotes by Value: This displays a bar graph with number of open quotes grouped based on value and are currently assigned to you. The length of the bar represents the number of quotes with the value falling within that range.

  When you move the pointer over a bar in the graph, you can view the number of quotes represented by that bar along with the range of value.

• My Open Quotes by Status: This displays a pie graph with number of quotes based on status. The size of the pie represents the number of quotes with that status.

  When you move the pointer over a pie in the graph, you can view the number of quotes represented by that pie along with the status value.
