DISCARD AUTINSTMODEL
Remove a terminal autoinstall model definition.
Syntax
Conditions: INVREQ, MODELIDERR, NOTAUTH
NOHANDLE, RESP, and
RESP2 are common options that can be added to all EXEC CICS
commands to process error conditions. They are not explicitly included in the command syntax diagram

Description
The DISCARD AUTINSTMODEL command makes a TERMINAL definition in the local CICS® system ineligible for use as a model for automatic installation of terminals. The TERMINAL definition is not discarded or otherwise modified; it is only removed from the list of autoinstall models available. (Use the DISCARD TERMINAL command if you want to remove the definition of the terminal.)

Options
- AUTINSTMODEL(data-value)
- specifies
the 8-character name of the autoinstall model that is to be removed. This
is the name specified in the AUTINSTNAME option of the TERMINAL definition
that defines the model, or the name of the terminal if AUTINSTNAME was not
specified.
Models whose names begin with the letters DFH are assumed to be CICS-supplied models and cannot be discarded.

- The model cannot be discarded because its name begins with DFH.
