Creating a condition to show or hide GIS object attributes

You can create a condition so that GIS object attributes are shown or hidden.

Before you begin

Use the Application Designer application to make attributes from a GIS object available to existing applications.

Procedure

  1. In the Conditional Expression Manager application, click New Row.
  2. In the Condition field, specify a unique name for the condition, for example, GIS condition.
  3. In the Description field, type a short description.
  4. In the Type field, select Expression.
  5. In the Expression field, type an expression that can evaluate if the GIS fields are shown.
    For example, :plussfeatureclass = 'HYDRANT'.
  6. Click Save Condition.
