Configuring secured web maps

If a web map or a web map service is secured, you must specify authentication information in IBM® Maximo® Asset Management.

Procedure

  1. Create and register a web mapping application on the ArcGIS resource and then record the client ID and client secret information associated with the web map.
  2. Log in to IBM Maximo Asset Management and open the Map Manager application.
  3. Within the Web Map Configuration section, select the Layers Configured with Web Map Definitions option, and then and enter the ID of the web map.
  4. Select the Enable OAuth 2.0 Application Login Authentication? option and enter the client ID and client secret information associated with the web map.

What to do next

If the both the web map and associated servers are secured, you must also configure token security for the map service within IBM Maximo Asset Management.
