Viewing change history on the Activity tab

Use the Activity tab on a task to see changes that were made to an object.

If you are a member of the OpenPages® Administrators Group, you can see all activities on all fields. If not, you can only see activities for fields that are in your view and that you have access to based on your profile.

About this task

You cannot edit the details on the Activity tab.

On premises On Cloud Cloud Pak for Data: The change history is displayed for the selected reporting period. For more information, see Changing the reporting period.

Procedure

  1. Open a task.
    For more information, see Completing work that is assigned to you.
  2. Click the Activity tab.
    Details about changes that have been made to the object are displayed.
  3. Compare values in the Old Value and New Value columns.
  4. Optional: Click filter button to see change history details based on the following criteria:
    • Field - displays changes to field values
    • Relationship - displays changes to object associations
    • Workflow - displays changes to workflow stages and statuses
    • Users - the individuals who made the changes
    • Start date and Start time - the start date and time for the time frame when changes were made
    • End date and End time - the end date and time for the time frame when changes were made
      Note: When you define a date and time, verify the time zone, as it might be different from the OpenPages server time zone.
  5. To export the data to Microsoft Excel, click export button.
    The file automatically downloads.
    Attention: You cannot use FastMap to import data that was exported from the Activity tab.
