Publishing reports to a locale other than US English
Reports that are placed under the Reporting/SOX folder structure on the application server are published to the US English locale. To publish to a different locale, choose the /SOX folder under the locale code you want, such as Reporting/ja_JP/SOX for the Japanese locale.
To enable users of a new locale to publish Cognos reports to OpenPages®, create the folder structure for the locale in the Reporting folder. For example, if Croatian (locale code hr_HR) is added as a new locale, you create the folder Reporting/hr_HR/SOX/<report_folder_name>.
Important: If the folder structure for the new locale doesn't exist, users with that
locale see reports based on the default locale.
Procedure
- Log in to OpenPages as a user with Publishing privileges.
- Click .
- Select the Reporting folder. The New Folder, New Page, and New Page Template options are displayed.
- Click New Folder.
- Enter the locale code as Name of the folder. For example, enter hr_HR as the folder name for Croatian.
- Click Save.
- Return to the Pages and Templates tab. Under the folder for the locale code, create the SOX folder and the folder for the report so that the folder structure is Reporting/<locale_code>/SOX/<report_folder_name>.
