Viewing bug lists

The Bugs menus list all bugs that are reported to MobileFirst Quality Assurance. Bug reports are a preproduction only feature. Apps that use the production SDK cannot submit bug reports.

Procedure

  1. In the main navigation, click Pre-production > Bugs.

A list of submitted bugs is displayed on the Bug Reporting Index page. You can browse all of the bugs or use the search bar to find specific bugs.

Each bug entry might include these items:
    • The identification number of the bug
    • The date and time when the bug was submitted
    • The affected version of the app
    • The device from which the bug was reported
Tip: Use List of iPhone and iPad devices in MobileFirst Quality Assurance reporting to map iPhone and iPad products to their common device names.
    • Operating system version from which the bug was reported
    • Annotated screen capture of the bug
    • Recorded screen sequence that helps to identify the bug
    • Severity level of the bug
    • User who reported the bug
    • Action that was taking place when the bug was identified
    • Description of the bug
  2. Optional: To open a screen capture or to view a recorded clip in a larger window, select the item that you would like to view.
  3. Optional: To view more details about the bug, select Details at the bottom of the bug report. The following additional bug details are provided, when they are available:
    • Type of network that the device was on when the bug was submitted
    • Battery level of the device when the bug was submitted
    • Screen resolution of the device when the bug was submitted
When you view the details about an individual bug, you have more bug-specific actions that you can take, when they are available:
    Export to BTS
If you are integrated with one of the selected bug tracking products, you can click Export to BTS and copy the bug to one of those integrated products.
