Changing the IP address, host name, or domain name
If you change the fully qualified host name of the VM, then any links or references to old host name might not resolve.

About this task
Important: If you do not use a proxy and you
change the fully qualified host name of the VM, then references to
the previous host name must be manually corrected. Some examples of
references to the host name:
- The host name of the service within mobile app source code.
- Links to MobileFirst Quality Assurance from Rational Team Concert™ work
items.Tip: : Use the server rename procedure in Rational Team Concert to automatically update links to MobileFirst Quality Assurance within all work items in an on-premises Rational Team Concert project.
- Links in browser histories, bookmarks, or favorites lists.
- Links in emails from the MobileFirst Quality Assurance service.
