Upgrading your Content Manager Records Enabler system

Before you upgrade Content Manager Records Enabler, verify that you have the correct level of prerequisite software and then update any necessary prerequisite software.

1. Plan your upgrade.
   
2. Update any required prerequisite software. If you upgrade IBM® Records Manager, update the IBM Records Manager database and administrator ID information in the Content Manager Records Enabler upgrade worksheet.
3. Confirm that the necessary environment variables are properly set.
4. Gather information that is required for the upgrade.
5. Extract the installation program and start the launchpad to begin upgrading.
