To declare a DB2 Content Manager item as a record, the DB2 Content Manager item must belong to an item type that was enabled by Content Manager Records Enabler. This item type is referred to as an eRecords-enabled item type. Before you can declare a new version of a record, you must add the version set in Content Manager Records Enabler and then configure the version view name by using the Content Manager Records Enabler Manual Declare and Classify Configuration window. When you retrieve a record that has multiple versions, IBM Records Manager indicates that the record has multiple versions. - Searching, browsing, and printing records
