Uploading a fix pack

You can upload fix packs to have them applied to running virtual instances.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have permission to create catalog content or the Appliance administration role with full permissions to add fix packs.

About this task

Download fix packs from IBM® Fix Central. Then, upload the fix packs to the Installation Manager repository.

Procedure

Locate and download the fix pack from IBM Fix Central to your local directory.
Log into IBM PureApplication®, and click System > IBM Installation Manager Repository.
Click Add New > Add New Software Package.
Click Browse to select the downloaded Process Federation Server fix pack.
In the Category field, select PFS from the drop-down list, and click Add to upload the fix pack.

Results

The fix pack that you downloaded is uploaded to the IBM Installation Manager repository.
