Predefined virtual application patterns
You can use predefined virtual application patterns to help you quickly set up complex, highly available IBM® BPM environments.
In the Virtual Application Patterns window, you can see the following predefined virtual application patterns that use the predefined pattern components:
- IBM BPM V8.6.0 Process Application
- The pattern to deploy a Process Server in the golden topology with DB2® HADR and highly available IHS, which provides the option to upload a process application to be installed during the deployment.
- IBM BPM V8.6.0 Process Center
- The pattern to deploy a Process Center in the golden topology with DB2 HADR and IHS.
For the relationships between the predefined virtual application patterns, the predefined pattern
components, and the target predefined virtual system patterns, see the following table:
| Predefined virtual application patterns | Predefined pattern components | Target predefined virtual system patterns |
|---|---|---|
| IBM BPM V8.6.0 Process Application | IBM BPM V8.6.0 Process Application | IBM BPM V8.6.0 Process Server with DB2 HADR |
| IBM BPM V8.6.0 Process Center | IBM BPM V8.6.0 Process Center | IBM BPM V8.6.0 Process Center with DB2 HADR |
Note: Process Server can
connect to an existing Process Center at
deployment.
