Report Designer
The Report Designer widget is a tool for creating and editing simple or detailed reports directly from a Monitor dashboard space.
Additionally, the Report Designer widget
provides a gateway to IBM® Cognos® BI,
from where you can enhance your reports using the advanced authoring
features.
Attention: After a Report Designer report
has been edited using IBM Cognos BI,
you can no longer edit it using the Report Designer widget.
Subsequent edits can be made by way of the Report Designer widget
using IBM Cognos BI.
Note that you can also create reports from the Monitor Model editor. The report that you create is available on the generated dashboard as soon as you deploy the associated monitor model with the dashboard generation option.
