Requirements for displaying widgets that use scripting
Widgets other than the KPI History and Prediction require that scripting be enabled on the browsers used to view the widgets.
If widgets are not displayed properly, verify that the browser is enabled to run scripts. Use the following instructions to verify browser settings for scripting.
Internet Explorer
- Select , and click the Security tab.
- Click Custom level. The Security Settings - Internet Zone window opens.
- In the Settings list, scroll down to the Scripting section and verify that Active scripting is set to Enable. If Active scripting is set to Enable, you can cancel out of the task. Otherwise, select Enable and then click OK.
Mozilla Firefox
- Select , and click the Content page.
- Verify that Enable JavaScript is selected. If Enable JavaScript is selected, you can cancel out of the task. Otherwise, select the check box and then click OK.
Google Chrome
- From the Customize and control Google Chrome icon, select Settings.
- Click Show advanced settings.
- In the Privacy section, click Content settings.
- In the JavaScript section, verify that Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended) is selected. If not, select the setting and click OK.
Apple Safari for Mac
- From the gear icon, select Preferences and click the Security tab.
- Click Preferences.
- In the web content section, verify that Enable JavaScript is selected. If not, select the setting.
Apple Safari for iPad
- Select Settings.
- Scroll down and select Safari.
- Scroll down and, verify that JavaScript is selected. If not, select the setting.
