Configuring program settings

You can configure program settings to include advanced fields and to automatically calculate emission savings.

About this task

You must have the administrator role to configure program settings.
When you enable the automatic calculation of Co2e savings for actions, all estimated unit savings for any initiative will have CO2e savings automatically calculated. The calculation is based on the following contributing factors that are specified for the initiative:
  • Emission factor for the data type.
  • The location that is associated with the initiative.
  • Time of completion or planned completion.

You can configure saving scenarios for the Power BI Monthly data set for reporting. If you plan to use the PowerReport for scenario modelling, you can define the start and end month for savings scenarios.

You can also define how to appropriate savings to each month within the start and end period for the following fields for scenarios 2 and 3:
  • Estimated Annual Unit Savings
  • Estimated Annual Cost Savings
  • Estimated Annual CO2e Savings (kg CO2e)
You can use Annual Equivalent Savings or Project Total Savings. For more information about the calculation of CO2e savings, see Calculating CO2e savings.
