Culture codes
Culture codes associate a numeric value with an ethnicity. Culture values are used to determine which rules and data should be applied when performing name analysis and scoring functions. Individual culture codes and sets of culture codes are returned by various Global Name Management classification functions.
Global Name Management products use the following culture codes:
Note: A group culture code represents a set of potential cultures within a specific region.
If a name returns multiple culture codes within a region the group code provides a single code that
represents multiple possible cultures.
