Permanent redaction fails for a PDF document

Symptoms

You cannot use the permanent redaction feature on a PDF document.

Resolving the problem

Go to the IBM® Content Navigator administration desktop and in the Daeja ViewONE Virtual tab, add an additional setting to burn PDF to TIFF instead of PDF documents:

Name: burnPDFToPDF
Value: false

For FileNet P8 repositories with the role-based redactions feature enabled, go to the IBM Content Navigator administration desktop and navigate to Repositories > repository configuration > Configuration Parameters and set the Redacted PDF files will be delivered as setting under the Role-based redactions section to TIFF files.
