IBM Content Navigator, Version 2.0.3 Supports: CMIS for FileNet P8

Configuring and deploying IBM CMIS for FileNet Content Manager on WebSphere Application Server

When you created your configuration profile, you specified information about the types of IBM® CMIS web applications that you plan to deploy. The IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment tool uses this information to generate a set of tasks that you must complete to successfully configure and deploy an IBM CMIS web application on IBM WebSphere® Application Server.

Before you begin

This task assumes that you have a configuration profile open in the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment tool.

Tip: If you selected Advanced when you created your configuration profile and then closed your profile, you might need to reconnect to your web application server before you can configure and deploy an IBM CMIS web application.

If you did not configure the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment tool to save your passwords, and you closed your configuration profile:

Select File > Edit Profile Properties.
Enter the web application server administrator password and click Finish.

Important: If you deploy IBM CMIS to one server and deploy IBM FileNet® P8 on another server, you must set the JVM custom property com.ibm.websphere.orb.uniqueServerName to true on both servers.
