Verifying the z/OS system host connection

Use the Copy Services Manager GUI to verify that a host can connect to a z/OS® system.

About this task

To verify a host connection on the z/OS system, follow these steps:

Procedure

  1. In the Copy Services Manager administrator console, enter your user name and password and click Log in.
  2. In the Health Overview page, click Host Systems.
  3. In the Host Systems page, click Add Host Connection.
  4. In the Add Host Connection dialog, enter the host connection information and click Add Host. The local host connection is displayed as connected in the list.
