Backing up your data
Use the backup-archive client to store backup versions of your files on the IBM® Storage Protect server. You can restore these backup versions if the original files are lost or damaged.
Unless otherwise specified, references to Windows refer to all supported Windows operating
systems.
The client provides backup and archive services for all files on the following
file systems: File Allocation Table (FAT), FAT 32, NTFS, and ReFS.
