OTMA header fields used by IMS Connect

OTMA defines the format and valid values of the message headers. The fields of the OTMA message header are grouped into sections based on the purpose of the fields.

Depending on the type of message being sent or the options you select, the format of a given section of the OTMA header can change. For example, depending on the type of message being submitted, the format of the message-control section of the OTMA header differs.

The tables in the following subsections document the IMS Connect requirements for setting the OTMA header fields or integrating them with the IMS Connect user message exits. The tables correspond to the sections of the OTMA header. Additional notes for the fields listed in each table are denoted by a number in the final column. The corresponding note text is listed by number in Notes to OTMA header tables.
